Screw the Romulan campain, give me a Ferengi campain!

The bigger question is why weren't you playing WoW, Eve, or Wii. All of todays best gaming is done with three letters!

I don't know know about reviewers "panning" the game, so I can't respond to it. Personally I enjoyed the game, however... to my mind all that they would have to do to make it into a classic is increase the number of ships controlled by the player, fix the repair idiocies, and significantly lengthen (and diversify, in terms of races played) the campaign. Adding an actual relevant multiplayer mode would be awesome, as well. ;)

There's a Wikipedia page on the game that makes some good points about the gameplay, but to be honest some of it is downright wrong. For example, there most certainly are tractor beams and transporters in the game -- you use them in the campaign (boarding parties and towing things around). Further, the controls/flight path problems honestly didn't bother me much because I played a game more tilted towards strategy... I didn't expect a flawless first-person control scheme, and I didn't get one.

Bah - all you do is whine. You whine about the need to have the admiral approve repairs, and then you whine about the game being too short.

They make the admiral be in charge of the repairs in order to make the game longer for you, silly. :)

Pfft whatever. The particular console is irrelevant; the point remains. :)
