The MacBook Pro, has a larger screen, and is now the dual core, it also has the built in DVI and S-Video out. Basically I would say its the professional version. I bought two adapters for $25 each, which gives me the s-video and DVI out, but I could see some one who travels a lot not wanting to carry those extras. The larger screen is nice, but not worth the $1000 extra, (well to me anyway). I have my desktop machine, which is good enough.

There are some cool new apps with the new macbook, photobooth, and comic life. Photoboth is kinda cool, will play with it more, but comic life is something I want to really play with, maybe take Micro and Macro and make a few in that program. Basically it takes templates, and allows you to add titles, and qoutation balloons, over top of pictures taken with the built in iSite. Pretty neat stuff. I will try my external camera and use it to take some pics, see how it works. Probably end up with something similar to Predator Loves Alien.

What's the difference between the macbook and the pro? Other than 50% of the price and 20GB bigger Hard drive?
